Takumi Minamino Signs Four-year Deal with Monaco. 



Ligue 1 outfit Monaco, have completed the signing of Takumi Minamino from Liverpool for €18 million.

A fixed fee of €15 million will be paid to Liverpool, and there is also a potential add-on clause of €3 million. 

Minamino has agreed to a four-year contract with Monaco.

The 27-year-old took a flight back from Japan to finish up a medical this week, and on Tuesday afternoon, the Stade Louis II confirmed his arrival.

Minamino, who played for Southampton on loan for the second half of the 2020–21 season, has 14 goals in 55 games for Liverpool. 

Last season, he only made 11 Premier League appearances, only one of which was a start. 

The only trophies Liverpool won last season were the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup, where Minamino led the team in scoring. Nevertheless, he had an impact in cup competitions.

After the confirmation of the move, Minamino said: “It is a great joy for me to join AS Monaco. I am happy to be part of the club’s project, which has just finished on the podium twice in a row and is one of the most recognized in an exciting championship.”
