Nigerian controversial singer Portable has retracted his comment on being instrumental to the formation of the notorious 1 Million Boys cultist group in Lagos.
The ‘Zazu’ Crooner shared this on his Instagram page hours after he had claimed he formed the 1 Million Boys cultist group.
Recall that Portable had claimed in a video that has since been deleted that he was the founder of the notorious One Million Boys in Lagos. The singer said this early on Monday 18th of July.
The statement which was said in the Yoruba language drew the attention of the police as the order was given by the Inspector General of Police, Usman Baba, to investigate further into the artist’s claims.
The Zazu singer had said, “Open your ears and hear me. Have you heard about Ajah Boys, One Million Boys? I’m their founder. Go and ask Sammy Larry.”

In a recent video shared hours after the police began investigating, Portable was seen retracting his statement. According to the singer, he was in no way associated with the 1 Million Boys cultist group.
Portable corrected that he was only referring to his 1 million followers and not the gang in Lagos.
“What I meant by million boys is millions of followers.”
The singer shared this while also revealing that his life was being threatened because of his statement, and his alleged support of APC in the Osun State governorship election.
