Nigerian Rapper Mr. Incredible Abaga (MI Abaga) has revealed that he would be retiring his stage name for a new one, following the release of his new album.
Jude Lemfani Abaga, popularly known by his stage name Mr. Incredible Abaga or MI Abaga, is a veteran Nigerian rapper who rose to fame in 2006 after the release of his song ‘Crowd Mentality’.
MI Abaga released his first album which he titled ‘Talk About It’ in 2008. He has since been a successful artist. His most recent album was released in 2020 and titled “Judah the E.P”.
The rapper has taken to his Instagram page on Thursday 7th of July, to reveal that he would be releasing a new album and would no longer be referred to as MI Abaga.

The release of his new album would mark his seventh studio album. While MI is yet to disclose more details on his new album, he released the lead single off the album “Daddy” back in March.
The lyricist also shared that he would be performing for the last time as MI Abaga on the 10th of July at “The Vibe”. According to the artist, this would mark the celebration of his legacy as Africa’s Greatest Rapper.
The album which he titled ‘The Guy’ is slated for release in August.
