On Tuesday, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) signed Portuguese left-back Nuno Mendes permanently.
The Portugal left-back is now tied to the club from the French capital until “June 30, 2026,” PSG said in a statement announcing the signing.
The 19-year-old joined PSG on a season-long loan last summer and has made 37 appearances and provided two assists.
Mendes is to stay at the Parc de Princes after agreeing on a contract until 2026 as PSG plans for a fresh battle for domestic honors and the Champions League next season.
Mendes was part of the team that helped PSG qualify for the World Cup in Qatar by defeating North Macedonia in a play-off.
The signing of Mendes comes after Kylian Mbappe signed a new long-term deal with the club.
