It is another sad day in Nollywood as the industry lost yet another iconic actor, Gbenga Richards.
The actor was reported to have passed on the morning of May 12, after battling diabetes and other ailments.
Gbenga Richards was known for his roles in the action side of Nollywood. Popularly known for his parts in Darkest Nights (2005), and 30 days (2006).
Richards was reported to have taken ill in 2021 when his friends and colleagues were soliciting to raise funds for his treatment. The Actor had shared a picture of himself on his Instagram page on the 15th of May, 2021, with a caption that suggested he was in recovery.
News of his death in May 2022 hit hard as friends and fans mourn the loss of a legend. May his soul rest in perfect peace.
