Popular Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson Okojie, took to Instagram on May 3rd to lament over an unauthorized debit on her account.
Mercy Johnson is a wealthy Nollywood star, and while it is very unlikely that she would complain about such charges, the actress stresses that the country is hard. An unauthorized deduction of 11 naira from her account could not go unnoticed.
The video she shared on her Instagram page showed her angrily matching to the bank to demand a refund. Mercy Johnson refused to mention the bank with the caption :
“I don’t want to name the bank, but my Acc name is Mercy Ozioma Okojie and Sapa is everywhere. Return my 11naira”
The video has since gone viral as fans find it hard to believe the actress. Some argue that the amount could not have been a mere “11 naira”, while others agree that banks tend to charge customers unfairly.
