Earlier this month, Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola claimed that everyone in the country was rooting for Liverpool to win the Premier League title this season.
However, a poll conducted by SPORTbible has found that couldn’t be further from the truth.
SPORTbible readers voted the reds as the most hated club in the Premier League, beating Manchester United, Chelsea, and Arsenal.

Out of 28,602 votes, 41.6 percent of readers voted Liverpool as their most hated club out of the four. United was the next highest with 35.1 percent, with Chelsea third with 14.3 percent.
Meanwhile, just nine percent of readers voted Arsenal as their most hated club.
In the replies to the poll, Leeds United and Tottenham were also frequently mentioned by fans of rival teams.
Liverpool supporters are unlikely to be too bothered about their lack of popularity with other fans.
