The husband of late Osinachi has reportedly escaped from Kuje Prison alongside the 800+ inmates who broke out of prison.
Osinachi’s husband, Peter Nwachukwu, was sent to Kuje Prison in June after being convicted of killing his wife.
Osinachi died on the 8th of April and her husband was arrested and tried in court over domestic violence.
In a terrorist attack on Kuje prison on the 5th of July which led to the escape of about 879 inmates, Peter Nwachukwu has been counted as one of those who escaped the prison.
According to a senior prison officer, the husband of the gospel singer was discovered to be missing during a prison roll call.
“During our roll call yesterday, we discovered that the husband of the late gospel singer was missing”
Meanwhile, the search for the escaped prisoners continues.
