Kizz Daniel has been released by the Tanzanian police after he was arrested for failing to perform on stage.
The artist was reportedly arrested by the organizers of the paid concert where he was supposed to perform on Sunday 7th of August as part of his Afro Classic World Tour.
The ‘Buga’ singer had Tanzanian fans enraged after he failed to show up for a concert where many reportedly paid huge amounts to attend.
According to the statement by one of the show’s promoters, Kizz Daniel allegedly refused to perform for reasons that he forgot his clothes and gold necklaces and did not want to wear new clothes on stage.

The arrest and subsequent release of the artist were confirmed by The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission(NiDCOM).
The commission revealed on it’s Twitter page on Monday that Kizz Daniel was being held at the Oyster Bay Police Station, Civil Police in Dar es Salaam.
It was later disclosed that he had been released and would return to Nigeria while his legal team report back to the police on Tuesday 9th of August.
