Popular Nigerian Artist, Kizz Daniel, publicly quits smoking for the sake of his kids.
Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, popularly known as Kizz Daniel, was born on May 1st, 1994, to the Anidugbe family in Abeokuta. The 28-year-old songwriter rose to fame after his hit singles “Woju” and “Yeba.” On May 1, 2021, the artist announced he had become a father to a set of triplets and also revealed he had lost one of the babies. Kizz Daniel is now father to twin boys, Jelani and Jalil, and to celebrate his 28th birthday, the artist announced he was quitting smoking for his sons.
The artist made a public statement in a video on his Instagram page. Kizz Daniel was seen wearing a hoodie bearing the name of his late son “Jamal”. In the video, he made his resolve to quit smoking for his sons and for all who care about him, after which he broke a pack of cigarettes as a sign of resignation.
The video bore the caption “On this day, I Quit Smoking”. Fans’ reactions to his announcement have been quite positive. Many applaud him for his decision and tag it “one of the best decisions he would ever make”.
