Nigerian singer Kizz Daniel has been apprehended by the Tanzanian police after failing to show up for a paid concert in the country.
The singer was arrested on Monday and escorted by the Tanzanian police.
Kizz Daniel was scheduled to perform on Sunday 7th of August at the Warehouse, Old Nextdoor Arena in Tanzania. However, he failed to show up with the reason being that he forgot his traveling bag and did not want to get new clothes.
In a viral video earlier shared online, fans who had gathered at the arena on Sunday waiting for the artist to show up were left outraged. Many threw tantrums and trashed the show’s venue.

A later video shared on Monday saw Kizz Daniel being escorted away by the Tanzanian police.
Angry voices could be heard in the video blaming the ‘Buga’ crooner for not apologizing to his Tanzanian fans.
“You will go in for it. You’ve caused damage in this country. I warned you yesterday”, an angry voice said.
