Nigerian Singer Kizz Daniel has tendered an apology to Tanzanians for failing to perform on Sunday.
The singer proceeded to promise fans a free show on Friday to make up for the failed performance.
Kizz Daniel was arrested on Monday in Dar es Salaam by the organizers of the show, Str8up Vibes, after he failed to perform.
Fans who had been waiting for the Buga hitmaker to show up on Sunday were left disappointed and many angrily trashed the show’s venue.
According to one of the show’s promoters Steve Uwa, Kizz Daniel was unable to perform because he forgot his luggage and couldn’t get new ones.

In an attempt to pacify his angered fans, the artist apologized at a press conference in Tanzania on Tuesday night after his release.
The Buga crooner also promised to work with the show’s organizers to make arrangements for a free show on Friday 12th of August.
“We agreed to put up a show on Friday. A free show. So, I will be partnering with Str8up Vibes.

Also, I must apologize to the fans. None of this was intentional. I love my job. Mainly, I love performing.
“I didn’t mean to disrespect the fans. It was never intentional. I wanted to perform. I came to Tanzania to perform, but due to some circumstances way over my power, we couldn’t make that happen.
“I apologise once again to the people of Tanzania, and I hope you guys give me another chance to give you a show, to give you a proper show, a beautiful show”.
