Nollywood Actors Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel who were kidnapped last week have been set free by their abductors with no physical harm done to either of them.
This was confirmed by the Actors Guild of Nigeria(AGN) on the 3rd of August. According to the report shared on Instagram, the kidnappers were touched by the spirit of God.
The veteran actors were reported missing by their families on the 29th of July. According to the reports, they never returned home since leaving a film location in Ozalla community.

The Police launched an investigation into the whereabouts of Cynthia and Clemson.

Days after the abduction, the families were contacted for a ransom of $100,000 which has been believed to be above the actors’ pay grade.
In a report released by the AGN, the veteran actors had been released by their abductors and were currently undergoing medical care and psychological support.
