American Rapper and entrepreneur, Kanye West, has had his Instagram and Twitter accounts restricted for sharing an anti-semitic post.
According to the now-deleted post, Ye had accused a musician of being controlled by Jewish people.
The post was shared over the weekend and has since been perceived by online users as an attack on the Jewish community.
Instagram was the first to take action against Kanye’s post by restricting his account. However, the rapper took to Twitter to continue his banter and also got restricted on the bird app.
This follows his controversial appearance with conservative media personality, Candace Owens, at the Yeezy fashion show in Paris.

The pair had stirred reactions from the online community after they both sported a T-shirt with the inscription, “White Lives Matter” printed boldly on the back.
Many criticized the inscribed text, including the hip-hop artist Sean Combs, popularly known as Puff Daddy.

In a conversation shared by Ye on Instagram, Puff Daddy was seen advising the rapper against hurting the Black community with his public statements.
Reacting to the comment, Kanye said he would use Combs as “an example to show the Jewish people that told you to call me that no one can threaten or influence me. I told you this is war. Now gone get you some business.”
