American Rapper Kanye has declared Wizkid’s song ‘Essence’ as the best in music history.
The rapper shared this on his Instagram page where he tagged Essence the “best song in the history of music to date”.
‘Essence‘ is a collaboration of top Nigerian artists, Wizkid and Tems. The song is on Wizkid’s studio album ‘Made in Lagos’ released in 2020.
The single has been topping charts since its release, including Billboard R&B/Hip Hop charts. Essence was also nominated at the Grammys and went on to win the BET Award for Best Collaboration.

Kanye took to his Instagram page of 17 million followers to share a screenshot of the single’s cover on Sunday, September 4th, with a caption that described it as the best in all of history.
This added to the increased recognition of the song and sparked reactions from many music lovers.
