American Rapper Kanye West is facing serious online criticism after wearing a shirt with the inscription “White Lives Matter” during his Yeezy SZN 9 presentation in Paris.
In his defense, Ye argues that the Black Lives Matter movement is a scam.
The Yeezy fashion show in Paris was headlined by Kanye’s surprise to all in attendance.
The 45-year-old entrepreneur was seen sporting an all-black outfit with the face of the Pope printed on the front and a controversial inscription printed boldly in white at the back of the shirt, “White Lives Matter”.

To further drive home his point, the Yeezy CEO took to his Instagram page to share a post that claimed, “Everyone knows that Black Lives Matter is a scam, now it’s over you are welcome”.
Some of the models in the show wore the same shirt emblazoned with “White Lives Matter” on the back as well.

Others who wore the shirt include Conservative Black pundit, Candace Owens. She was seen posing next to Ye in a matching shirt but in white with bold black writings.
The online community has not taken kindly to Kanye’s choice of inscription.
