Recent rumors have it that actress Genevieve Nnaji has been off social media because of a mental illness that led to her being admitted to a hospital abroad.
This rumor was started by a controversial Instagram blog, Gistlover, in a post that claimed Genevieve was currently receiving mental treatments in Houston.
While this rumor has spread far and wide, Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu, has taken to his Instagram page on the 11th of May, to refute these claims. He argued that the news of Genevieve’s mental illness was fake as the actress had been in Ghana for weeks and was nowhere in Houston.
Recall that Uche Maduagwu had dragged the actress on his page about her absence on social media, which he claimed was merely her trying to obey her unknown lover. Barely a week later, Maduagwu is seen actively defending her mental health.
