Nollywood Actress Funke Akindele has refused to make any comments about her marriage and the recent divorce confirmed by her husband JJC Skillz in the media.
It has been exactly 4 days since JJC Skillz revealed he was leaving his marriage to Funke. According to him, the family had been in chaos for over 2 years and Funke Akindele had refused to meet him to talk about their marriage.
JJC Skillz further revealed that the Nollywood actress had locked him out of their home for 3 months.
This recent revelation has forced many in the media to believe the marriage is ending over the disparity in finance.
Funke Akindele has proven she is more focused on her career than her personal life as she is yet to make any comments concerning her marriage. She is rather focused on celebrating her career after being invited by OSCAR.
Amidst her marriage crisis, Funke Akindele took to her Instagram page to share her recent achievement of being the only Nigerian actress to make the list of over 300 members invited to join the Oscar academy class of 2022.
The invite was offered following the success of her roles in the Award-winning movie “Omo Ghetto: The Saga,” and the comedy series, “Jenifa”.
Funke Akindele was invited on the 28th of June, 2022, to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences alongside others like Billie Eilish, “50 shades” star Jamie Dornan, and Ariana DeBose from “West Side Story”.
