Canadian rapper Drake has tested positive for Covid-19 and has been forced to put his Young Money Reunion Show on hold.
Drake was scheduled to perform alongside Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne on Monday night.
The 35-year-old rapper broke the news to his fans on his insta story. He expressed how devastated he was that he had tested positive for the virus and also for postponing the show.
Drake promised to reschedule the performance as fans had been eager to see three of the best on one stage.
His post read, “I am truly devastated to say that I tested positive for Covid and the Young Money Reunion scheduled for tonight is being rescheduled to the soonest possible date.
“I will keep the city posted and share the new date whenever we have it locked,” he continued, adding, “Until then I hope everyone stays safe and healthy and I love you all.”

“I love you all and I am so sorry for letting you down on our weekend together and the moment I test negative I will give you everything I got on stage (except the Covid),” he finished.
Drake’s festival began on Thursday in Toronto, with Chris Brown and Lil Baby performing on Friday night at Budweiser Stage as part of the duo’s “One of Them Ones” Tour.
Nicki Minaj was scheduled to take on Budweiser stage alongside Drake and Lil Wayne.
