Christian Eriksen is said to have followed Jurrien Timber’s lead and turned down a move to Man United, putting Erik ten Hag’s transfer ambitions in jeopardy.
Timber, an Ajax defender, has ruled out a move to Old Trafford after meeting with Holland manager Loui van Gaal.

Ten Hag is said to have been rejected again after Eriksen, 30, turned down a transfer to Manchester United.
The midfielder has reportedly turned down offers from Manchester United in favor of a return to Tottenham Hotspur, according to The Guardian.
Ten Hag’s recruitment goals will be severely harmed by the revelation.
Erik ten Hag briefly worked with Eriksen at Ajax after he returned to play following his heart attack at the 2020 European Championships.
According to De Telegraaf, the former Ajax manager was desperate to sign Eriksen and Frenkie de Jong to change the style of play at the club.
