Cardi B tweeted a teaser for her upcoming song, “Hot Shit,” which will be released later this week.
Later this week, Cardi B will release a new song titled “Hot Shit,” the rapper revealed in a post on Twitter on Sunday.
The song will be Cardi’s first single since the popular song “Up” from the previous year.
The rapper shared a video teaser for a brand-new single that Tay Keith (Drake, BlocBoy JB) produced during commercials for Sunday night’s BET Awards. The brief video showed Cardi standing atop a building with the words “Coming Soon” and “July 1” written in neon orange letters.
The action is being taken in anticipation of Cardi’s eagerly anticipated second full-length album, which will follow her 2018 debut “Invasion of Privacy.”
In the intervening years, she has released a number of joint projects, including “WAP,” the smash tag team from last year with Megan Thee Stallion, and her most recent features, the drill track “Shake It” (featuring Kay Flock, Dougie B, and Bory300) and the 2021 duet with Lizzo, “Rumors.”
