Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has tendered an apology to his fans for dropping his new song ‘Back in Uni’ before the suspension of the ASUU strike.
According to some students on the bird app, the artist was the reason why the ASUU strike was called off.
Blaqbonez released his new single ‘Back in Uni’ last week and the Academic Staff Union of Universities suspended the 8-months industrial strike a few days later.
The timing of both events has got the online community suggesting that the rapper caused the suspension of the strike.

ASUU called off its 8-months strike on the 14th of October. While many students celebrated the news, others lamented over the suspension with claims that they weren’t prepared for school.
The Nigerian rapper took to his social media page to tender an apology to students who weren’t ready to resume.
His tweet read, “I didn’t know u guys didn’t want to go back to school, I wouldn’t have dropped back in Uni 😢
