Beyonce Announces New Album, ‘Renaissance’

On June 16, the Tidal and Spotify Instagram accounts shared a black-and-white photograph with the caption “Act I, Renaissance” and named Queen Beyonce in their viral post.

In terms of the precise arrival date, the singer’s highly awaited album, as revealed in both of their captions, will be released on July 29.

After numerous outlets confirmed that Beyoncé will debut what appears to be the first part of her latest project, Renaissance, in late July, fans are finally ready to reassemble.

The move comes exactly a week after the Grammy winner shocked fans by deleting her profile picture from all of her social media platforms, including Instagram and YouTube.

And, while that modest action may not appear to be significant, fans correctly deduced that it was a clue that something big was on the way.

Lemonade, her last album, was released in 2016, and it’s been over six years since then.

It’s also worth noting that during a 2021 interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Beyoncé may have provided the greatest clue regarding the title of her project.

The singer told the publication that she “felt a renaissance emerging” as she confirmed the release of new tracks.
